My Response to a concerned Boulder Resident’s Questions about Public Engagement & Trust
One of the reasons I am running is to bring more community-driven governance to how we operate as a city. I take the role of being an elected representative very seriously, and I know that becoming elected means being of service. So I will be available to you, I will listen, help you problem solve and carry your voices wth care and significance. I hope that we can (as residents of Boulder) work together to align our vision, values and interests in ways that foster trust, understanding, justice, equity and belonging.
It is not your responsibility, as a community member to give me or anyone your trust. It is our privilege as elected (prospective elected officials) to earn it.
What the Flock
Boulder has many future forward tools at it’s disposal
Flock and drones are two of the tools Boulder Police Department uses to help them address some of the safety concerns and priorities they’ve identified as risks to our community.
I’ve listened to people who are for, against and neutral about these tools.
My Positions on Some of the Amendments and Propositions on the 2026 Ballot
This is NOT a voter guide. While these are matters of the state and beyond what would be my role as a Council Member, its important that we are transparent on what matters to us and so I am sharing my positions with you. This is how I (personally) will be voting and why. Please so with this information what you will and do not receive this as me attempting to lead you in any direction.
I will always stand with on the side of Civil Rights, and protect the humanity of my neighbors.

I SUPPORT the Core Arterial Network.
Columbine, Crest View, Foothills, Casey, Centennial & Boulder High
We know BVSD doesn’t have the ability to bus all children. So, while we do not have the data on who or age groups of the people who navigate these spaces we do know there are 6 different schools impacted by what happens on Iris.

We need to ensure that what we do protects the futures of our children, and that includes ensuring their adulthood isn’t interrupted by a car accident.

Equity and diversity isn’t a yard sign, its system’s design. Its being intentional every single day, even when mistakes are made - learning to design more inclusively takes practice, collaboration and commitment.

My Position:
I SUPPORT doing a complete re-write of this very crucial document. Now is the right time. Not only because we just finalized the BVCP (a 10 year envisioning of Boulder) but because in a time of incredible costs of everything we cannot wait any longer.
We need to align the vision of BVCP with the framework to ensure its vitality and success.
